I have very thick hair, I call it my “Jew Fro” and if there is any humidity in the air it gets all puffy and unmanageable . I even saw on some message board someone calling my bangs puffy?!? Anyway, one day I had around 2 interviews, a photo shoot and an event and found myself blow-drying my hair 3 times that day! I had enough. I am actually a very low maintenance type of person and don’t like to waste time getting ready. Blow-drying hair = Waste of time.
While I was getting prepped by the lovely ladies of The Hair Room JC one day for a photo shoot, I was venting about my hair (which is so ridiculous) and they told me about the Brazilian Keratin Treatment. Anatalie and Kristina said to me “It’s a total game changer.”
I said, “Let’s do it.” A week later the ladies came to my apartment and worked their magic. Anatalie applied the stuff on my hair while I was getting work done.
Anatalie and Kristina then blow dried and flat ironed my hair and told me I couldn’t wash it for at least two days, which meant I had an awesome excuse for not going to the gym!!
The result, amazing. It actually did change my life. I no longer wake up twice a week before mini-chicpea wakes up to do my hair. I don’t care anymore if it’s humid outside or if I get a little wet…. and my bangs are no longer puffy and out of control. Since then I’ve thrown out all those crappy hair products that promise to keep my hair tame, and my blow dryer is going in the storage room. I am free!!
