Pholk Beauty offers natural, vegan skincare products made by women of color for women of color. When founder Niambi Cacchioli lived overseas, she would visit a local apothecary to gather ingredients for her skincare routine since several brands did not produce healthy, effective skincare products for women of color. This inspired her to not only create a skincare line, but also organize community workshops for women to connect with themselves and with others.

Community Compost Co collects compostable materials in the New York/New Jersey area to minimize the amount of food waste sent to landfills. Eileen Banyra founded Community Compost Co. in 2013 to service the Hudson Valley and Northern NJ, and later developed Hudson Soil Co. to sell the finished compost to gardeners and landscapers.
