6 weeks ago a typical Thursday night would consist of dinner, online shopping, reality TV watching and in bed by 9:30 pm so that I can wake up at the crack of ass and get my workout on at Krank. Then ChicpeaJC came into my life and I am discovering all these fun events/activities/parties. Now I am waking up at 5am to blog about it…. a tad hungover….

Stylish Jersey City Brother and Sis Liz and Michael and owners of JC Made, Feena Boutique and soon to be open Broa Cafe asked me to teach a hip hop class at JCMade! I love them, I love the store and I LOVE HIP HOP…. so of course I said yes! It was so fun! They had balloons with my nickname on it!! #bitchimfamous

The combination of drinking bubblies, eating Cocoa Bakery goods and dancing was awesome! The turn out was great, we where sweating, screaming, twerking, and even little Mia got in on the fun!! She is definitely going in my footsteps, she really worked the crowd!

Freshly Baked at Union Republic

Once the class was over I chugged another glass of bubbly, changed in the back of the store and off we went to check out Freshly Baked at Union Republic. The combo of Art+Food+Music = AWESOME! Add some Brew from the New Jersey Beer Company and Awesome turns into TURNT UP!!

What a fun party, DJ’s Greeeenvillain and Tab Jones were working the turntables and playing some funky tunes, you would think after two hours of dancing I would want to sit down! but no way! I was having dance parties with some of the Awesome Union Republic people!

There were so many stylish people my head was literally spinning…. If I didn’t hit the bubbles and beer I would of interviewed almost every person there!

I also had the honor of meeting Morgan and Tim the peeps who run Freshly Baked, they are so cool! and you guessed it…. POST COMING SOON!! I loved the art they showcased at this event and I love what they are doing for the Jersey City arts community!

The Union Republic guys shut the place down with their amazing hors d’oeuvres ; I love this place, it has such a cool vibe, amazing food, really great service…. Did you guys see this post about them? (shameless plug!)

I met so many cool people at this event, and that makes me happy.
