9. Teach Your Child to Support Veterans in Hudson County

Mommies Heart to Heart will take to the park this Saturday as they partner with Catholic Family and Community Services and MC’s VetNet to help raise funds and awareness for veterans. The proceeds from this event will provide veterans with housing assistance, educational expenses, or expenses associated with the job search process such as special training, a bus/train pass or a new pair of dress shoes to assist veterans who are facing a difficult time.

11. Official After Party for The Nychos and Andy Kehoe Art Opening

12. Berry Lane Grand Opening and Family Festival
Join Mayor Steven Fulop, the Jersey City Municipal Council and the Jersey City Redevelopment Agency in celebrating Jersey City’s latest green space, Berry Lane Park!
This celebration is free and open to the public, and includes music, demonstrations, sports clinics, children’s activities, food vendors and more!
Berry Lane Park features two basketball courts, two tennis courts, a baseball field, a soccer field, a playground and passive recreation areas that include 600 new trees and a rain garden.
This project transformed more than 17 acres of property—including former rail yards, junk yards, auto repair shops, industrial facilities, and warehouses—into recreational space for Jersey City residents.
